Cafe L’Abricot
ラブリコ
Tucked right beside Tokyo Daijingu, Cafe L’Abricot serves panini lunch sets with tuna-and-cheese toasties, drinks, and pudding amid a quiet room featuring model train dioramas.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Standing immediately next to Tokyo Daijingu shrine, Cafe L’Abricot is an effortless spot to drop by for a break before or after prayers, or for a quiet weekday midday respite. Operating for limited hours on weekdays from 11:30 to 15:30, it offers a peaceful pause just steps away from the surrounding bustle.
The centerpiece of the lunch hour is the panini set, featuring warm pressed sandwiches like tuna and cheese at approachable prices. Sets come with a choice among several beverages, such as coffee or tea, alongside desserts like pudding, wrapping up light fare and an after-meal sweet in one neat order.
The smoke-free, restful interior houses a model railway diorama and a small stage, giving the space an unpretentious, idiosyncratic air. On pleasant days, terrace seating is also available, making it easy to settle in whether you are visiting alone for a quiet cup of tea or taking your time between stops.
